DST Financial Services was part of the broader DST Systems organization prior to the SS&C acquisition in 2018. Financial Services was comprised of Business Process Modeling, Retirement Solutions, Brokerage Solutions, Mutual Funds and Investments and Recordkeeping.
Built, Led & Centralized a Team of Designers
During my tenure as Experience Design Manager, we centralized a group of designers that were dispersed throughout the organization. Our team was responsible for all design needs of the Financial Services Group within DST. My responsibilities included managing the CX program and corresponding VoC action plans for Financial services, managing design demand, mentorship of staff, adopting a consistent methodology and creating a culture of open feedback and support.
Notable Accomplishments:
- Led adoption and evangelism of Goal-directed design methodologies as a consistent approach to problem solving.
- Mentored and consulted with team members on difficult projects and engagements throughout Financial Services
- Led the creation and maintenance of online UX standards aligned with the DST brand.
- Co-created a new design-driven product strategy methodology and then led the change management initiatives around it.
- Dramatic increase in design demand due to proven value in both digital and non-digital experiences
- Justified growth of the team from 5 to 12 associates.
- Achieved 100% trust and engagement scores as the leader and manager of the team.
